...I quit smoking and found my hands were
bored so, I went to work PT for a stained glass shop in the small town
(Pop 703) that I lived in. It didn't take long to realize I had found my
passion!
In 1996, I sold my business of 18 years, a bar in Stratford IA, called Bar None, and went to
work doing stained glass full time at the local stained glass shop.
In 1999 that business sold, so I started my own shop back in the town where I was born and raised.
The rest is history as they say...
I have 5 employees that I would
be lost without, for the job has become too big for 1 person.
We have a
gift shop that features only our products. We do custom work, and sell supplies to the public.
Working 70 hours a week is a
breeze because I absolutely love my job. I never know what new
challenge will come in the front door.
